On Friday-14-March, the Bogota High School Drama Club will present their Spring Musical production of “ The Hunchback of Notre Dame” This is an adaptation of the 1831 novel by Victor Hugo. The action is set in 1482 Paris, in and around Notre-Dame Cathedral. The musical features performances by Mr. Jared Clark as Quasimodo. Ms. Tsering Lama plays Esmeralda. Mr. Ian Engelhardt is Archdeacon Claude Frollo. With Mr. Lucas Mejia in the role of Captain Phoebus de Martin.
The production is directed by Ms. Mary Hochgesang, Vocal Director, and Conductor Mr. Michael Prachthauser, Instrumental Director Mr. David Abraham. Set Design by Mr. Joseph Hochgesang. Lighting Design and Stage Manager Ms. Alexandra Soriano, Choreography by Ms. Isabel Bustamante.
The Auditorium was decorated with art pieces created by the Bogota Middle School Art Club. The Pit Musicians were Students and Alumni of the Bogota High School Band.
Their opening night performance is Friday-14-March in the Bogota High School Auditorium. Doors open at 7:00p with tickets available at the door. Adult tickets are $8.00, with Student and Senior tickets at $5.00. On Saturday-15-March their will be a Matinee performance at 1:00p and the closing night performance at 7:30p. These tickets are also available at the door. Adult tickets at $8.00 with Student and Senior tickets at $5.00.
