The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota. The Bogota Department of Public Works have moved the Recycling Center to the Swim Club Parking Lot at the end of Feller Pl. This will accept Cardboard Monday to Friday from 8:00a to 2:00p. And Saturdays 9:00a to 1:00p.
Closed on Holidays and Sundays.

On Sunday-9-February, a major fire took place in the West View Tower Apartments at 15 Palisade Ave in Bogota. The 60 residents were forced to leave the building. They have not been able to return to their residents. A number of efforts have started to aid those effected by the fire.
One of the more urgent needs is for clothing items. This includes women’s clothing in size from extra small to 4X. and shoe size 5 and 7
Men’s sizes small to 2XL pants size 31/30 and 34/31 shoe size 9 1/2.
Boys’ sizes extra-large 7 10 12 and 12 to 18 months shoe size 5.
Girls size 10.
Size 6 diapers and wipes. Gift card will also be accepted.
Donations will be accepted at 236 Walnut Ave. or the Bogota Senior Center on the second floor of 375 Larch Ave.

The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 next All you can eat Breakfast. This will start at 8:30a to 11:30a Prices are $15.00 for Adults and $8.00 for student 8 and under. The Breakfast will feature an Omelets & Waffle station, w/ Pancakes, Bacon, Sausage, French toast, & scrambled eggs. Also pastries, cereal along with Coffee, Tea, Milk & Juice. It is asked to bring some Non-perishable food items for the Local Food Pantry. The Elks lodge is located at the Corner of Spruce & Cedar Sts. Ridgefield Park, NJ

The offices of Borough Hall, The Department of Public Works Recyling Centre, The Bogota Public Library, will be close for President's Day Holiday. They will re-open at the regular time on Tuesday-18-February.
Schools of the Bogota School District will be closed on Monday & Tuesday 17-18 February and reopen on their regular schedule on Wednesay-19-February.
