Lady Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling

 On Wednesday -29-January, the Bogota/ Ridgefield Park Lady Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling squad hosted the Cliffside Park/ Ridgefield Lady Royal Raiders in the Bell Gym. This was the Senior Match for Bogota/ Ridgefield Park and before the first bout Seniors Carolina Estrada and Isabella Gomero were asked to come to the center of the mat to be honored for their career. Each received flowers from the coaches.

Of the 12-bouts scheduled 10 were competed, the Lady Scarlet-Bucs would win 6 of them. Cliffside Park/ Ridgefield would win the match by a score of 36 to 35. For Bogota/ Ridgefield Park Ashlie Nagle at 107 lbs., Rachael Magalhaes at 120 lbs., Isabella Vargas at 126 lbs., Gariella Correa at 152 lbs., and Ashley Viela Armijos at 185 lbs. all won by Pinfalls. Carolina Estrada at 132 lbs. recorded a Technical Fall by the score of 18 to 3. For Cliffside Park/ Ridgefield Carol Sutuj at 114 lbs., Deisy Quevedo DeLeon at 138 lbs., Blanca Flores at 145 lbs., and Diana Herrera at 165 lbs. all won by Pin Falls,

The Lady Scarlet-Bucs’ record is now 12-2. They next compete in a Quad Match on Friday-31- January at Ramsey. The first bout is scheduled for 5:00p
