Wednesday-22-January. The Bogota Bowling Bucs lost to the Park Ridge Owls by a score of 7-0. Nico Lucarelli had team highs with the high game of 143 Pins and 364 High Set. They next play New Milford on Monday27-January at 4:00p in the Parkway Lanes.
The Bogota-Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs traveled to Emerson against the Cavaliers. The Lady Scarlet/Bucs had a 35 to 0 win over the Lady Cavilers. Two of the six matches scheduled took place. Bogota-Ridgefield Park's Isabella Vargas at 120 lbs. had a pin fall victory. With Carolina Estrada at 132 lbs. won by Technical Fall 18-3. They have a record of 10-1. Thier next match is Wednesday-29-January against Cliffside Park/ Ridgefield. This will take place in the Bell Gym in Ridgefield Park with the first bout at 6:00p
The Men's Scarlet/Bucs Wrestlers lost at Emerson by a score of 60 to 15. Of the 14 bouts scheduled 12 took place. The Cavilers won 9 of them. Bogota-Ridgefield Park's Dean Sinisgalli at 138 lbs., and Derek Rodriguez at 175 lbs. won by pin falls. Alexander Cruz at 215 lbs. won by Major Decision 10-1. They now have a record of 5-4, and next have a Quad meet on Saturday-25-January in Bogota at the Speary Gym. First bout is 8:00a.
On Thursday-23-January the Basketball team from Bogota played those from Ridgefield. The Lady Bucs traveled to the Lady Royals. The home team would take an 8 to 6 lead after the first eight minutes. Ridgefield would still be ahead at halftime by the score of 18-15. Bogota only trailed by 2 going into the final quarter. They would out score the Lady Royals to earn a 48 to 45 win. Emma Fowler had a game high with 26 Points with two of them coming as Three Point Baskets. Ridgefield's Mya Alvarez scored a team high with 12 Points. Hailey Driver recorded a game high of 3 Three Point Baskets for the Lady Royals. Bogota's record is now 5-9. They next play on Saturday-25 January in Weehawken with the tip-off at 12:30p
Men’s Basketball Bucs hosted the Royals on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Ridgefield led after the first quarter 15-13, and 35 to 26 at halftime. The Royals would win the game by a score of 60 to 54.
