Bogota
Fund raiser for the Bogota Marching Buccaneer Band is now running on Raise Snap. This is to support the Band and the Chorus for their Spring competitions. 
Donations will be accepted until Monday-16-December.

  The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota.  The Village of Ridgefield Park has made available the sign up and the trial period for their Food Waste Municipal Composting Program through the end of the year.

Leaf season is from Monday-14-October until Monday-23-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents.  It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday-23-December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up. 
                                                       

                             
Note:
The Bogota Department of Public Works have moved the Recycling Center to the Swim Club Parking Lot at the end of Feller Pl.  This will accept Cardboard Monday to Friday from 8:00a to 2:00p. And Saturdays 9:00a to 1:00p. 
Closed on Holidays and Sundays.

 The Bogota High School Music Department will hold their Holiday Concert. Curtain time for both Performances will be 7:00p. This will feature music by the High School Concert Band, Concert Choir, the Purple Notes and the High School Jazz Band.

The GoBucsPTO will host a Breakfast with the Grinch, in the Bogota High School Cafeteria starting at 8:30a. Tickets at $6.00 for Students from 4 to 10 years old. $10:00 for Students over 10 Years old if purchased before Friday 29-November. After that prices are $8.00 for Students from 4 to 10 years old. $12.00 for Students over 10 Years

 The Bogota Recreation Department will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. This is scheduled to start at 4:00p. It will be held in front of Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcomed. Prizes will be awarded by a Special Guest.
