  The Borough has started a Hometown Heroes Banner program. This will allow residents of Bogota to honor a family member who serviced in the Armed Servies. The cost of a banners will be $150.00 payable to the Borough of Bogota.  The Village of Ridgefield Park has made available the sign up and the trial period for their Food Waste Municipal Composting Program through the end of the year.

Note:
The Bogota Department of Public Works have moved the Recycling Center to the Swim Club Parking Lot at the end of Feller Pl.  This will accept Cardboard Monday to Friday from 8:00a to 2:00p. And Saturdays 9:00a to 1:00p. 
Closed on Holidays and Sundays.

Bogota
The Borough of Bogota will host their Menorah Lighting on sixth day of Hanukkah starting at 5:30p. It will take place in front of Brough Hall at 375 Larch Ave.

The Bogota Department of Public Works will begin Christmas Tree removals. Trees must be place on the curb, but out of the street. All decorations and electrical wiring must be removed.

Tuesday & Wednesday -31-December & 1-January-2025
Bogota 
The Bogota Public Library will be closed for New Years Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2025 at their regular hours.

Wednesday-1-January-2025
Bogota     
 The Bogota Municipal Building, and the Department of Public Works will be closed for the New Year Holiday. They will reopen on Thursday-2-January-2025 at their regular hours. Recycling pick-up will occur on Thursday-2-January-2025.

The Bogota Public Library host the Healthy Alternatives for Little Ones (HALO). This evidence-based program is for kids aged 3-6 and is all about having fun while learning important life skills. It will start at 4:00p. The Borough of Bogota will hold their Sine-Die meeting. This will be followed by the swearing in of the candidates who won the 2024 General Elections. The meeting will start at 1:00p and be held in the Senior Center, located at 375 Larch Avenue. The oath of office will be given Councilwoman Elect Ms. Consuelo Carpenter, and Councilman Elect Mr. William Hordern
