On Saturday- 21-December-2024, the Bogota Recreational Commission hosted their annual Breakfast with Santa. This was held in the Bogota Recreation Center and featured an assortment of foods, including handmade pancakes and eggs, sausage links and patties, bacon, little muffins, bagels, and cookies and donuts. The drinks that were available were water, apple juice, hot chocolate, and coffee for the parents. Children could play with one of the board games at the tables, draw and color in some pictures, and write their own lists to Santa. When Santa Claus arrived, with the help of the Bogota Volunteer Fire Department, he greeted the children no matter their age. He then took the time for people to sit on his lap and pose for some pictures. All the while, festive songs would play, with enough space was available for anyone to get up and dance. At one time, Bogota Mayor Ms. Daniele Fede stopped by to talk to Santa as well. Volunteers from the Recreational Commission took turns cooking Breakfast, while others helped to make sure everyone had an enjoyable morning.
