  Recap from Bogota Varsity Sports from Saturday-21-December. The Basketball teams played those from Leonia. The Men's team traveled to Leonia to play the Lions. After the first eight minutes the home team held a 11-9 advantage. In the second quarter Bogota would double the lions point total accounting for 23 points.  This allowed them to go into the locker room leading 33 to 23. After the restart the Bucs continued to grow the scoreline to extend the margin 54 to 39.  Bogota would go on to win the game by the score of 69 to 57.  Jacob Castillo and Anner Hernandez led the team with 15 Points. Ryan Fowler scored a team high with 4 Three Point Baskets. Lucas Cruz recorded 10 rebounds and 2 Block shots. They now have a record of 2-1. They next play on Wednesday-1-January 2025 against Passaic Tech at home on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym with a 11:20a tip-off.

 The Lady Bucs hosted the Lady Lions on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Bogota recorded the first 5 points of the game. Leonia then went on a 12-0 run.   The visitors would have a 16-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.  By halftime Leonia had a 37- to 11 margin, on their way to a 50 to 26 road win. 

Leonia's Angelica Do had a game high with 24 Points. Abiail Liriano was high scorer for Bogota with 14 Points. The Lady Bucs Emma Fowler led all players with 2 Three Point Baskets. Cristina Ter-Meliksetian recorded 9 Rebounds with1 Block shot.  Ms. Do had 10 Rebounds for Leonia. Bogota's record is now 0-3. They next play on Thursday-26-December at the New Milford Winter Classic against Midland Park with a9:00a tipoff.
