Bogota Lady Bucs

On Wednesday-6-Novmeber the #5 Bogota Lady Bucs Volley traveled to Cedar Grove to play the #4 Lady Panthers in Quarterfinal Round Match of the 2024 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 Tournament. Bogota would return home with a 2-0 (25-17: 25-21) win. 

 Emma Fowler had a match high with 12 Kills. Sophia Fazal led Cedar Grove with 5 Kills.  Keidy Rodriguez recorded a match high with 4 Blocks for Bogota. Ariana Marchant, Lucy Villamar and Isabella Cruz all had 8 Digs. Lady Panther's Leah Weinstein score a match high with 11 Digs and a team high with 7 Service Points. Her teammate Daniella D'Angelo along with Lady Bucs' Melannie Solis with posted match highs with 12 Assists. Isabella Cruz, Melannie Solis and Adamarys Pinos had 8 Service Point for Bogota. Lady Bucs' Lucy Villamar, Isabella Cruz, and Melannie Solis, with Lady Panthers' Leah Weinstein and Caitlin O'Connor all scored 2 Aces.

 Bogota's record is now 17-9.

They next travel to # 1 Secaucus on Friday-8-November for Semifinal Match of the 2024 New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) North Jersey Section 2 Group 1 Tournament. The first serve will be at 4:30p
