On Tuesday 17-September, the Bogota Board of
Education held their regular meeting for the month. In his Superintendent’s report Mr. Damien Kennedy, announced the
bathrooms in the High School are fully functional, but there will be a few cosmetic
changes needed. Next he gave the report about Graduation Pathways testing for
the Class of 2024. All 91 Students passed the testing requirements for NJGPA test. Or other tests like the SAT’s, PSAT’s or ACUPLACERS. Superintendent Kennedy’s
final announcement was to inform the
public of the updated district website along with the availability of a
district app which will allow Parents to receive messages from the district in
a timelier manner. To download the app, and other information please go to the

Then the Trustees voted on the consent agenda. All resolutions were passed by unanimous vote. Items of note were:
-To approve the Understanding between Fairleigh Dickinson University and Bogota Public Schools to participate in the University's Pre-Collegiate STEM Discovery Program.
-To approve the appointment of After School Music Lesson Teacher Mr. Michael Webb.
The next Bogota Board of Education meeting will be a work session on Tuesday-8-October at 7:00p. It will be held in the High School Cafeteria in 2 Henry Luthin Pl, Bogota. It will also be available online. The meeting is open to the public.
