The
Bergen County Board of Commissioners invite Bergen County resident artists,
aged 17 years and older, to register for the 60th Annual Bergen County Art in
the Park Show and Concert. It will be held on Saturday October 19 in Van Saun
Park in Paramus, Lot 4, Area F. Over 100 visual artists will be featured in the
exhibition and sale, representing the wide scope of artistic diversity found
within the County of Bergen.
This is a juried show open to Amateur and Professional Artist. Exhibitors work
must fit into one of the following 6 Categories they are : Acrylics/Oils;
Drawing/Prints/Pastels: Mixed Media: Photography (Digital/Traditional): Photography
(Digital Manipulation) and Watercolors.
Exhibitor spots are 6ft high x 8ft wide, spaces are limited. Registration will
close on Thursday October 10. (or if all spaces are taken). Organizations may
register Artist with disabilities to showcase client’s group artwork.
Cash prizes include 1st place $175, 2nd place $150, 3rd place $125, Honorable
Mention $100 and Best in Show $525.

Set-up starts at 8:00a. and must be completed by 10:00a. for Judging. With public viewing from 11:00a to 3:30p.
Awards will be announced at 4:30p the day of the show. Rain date is Sunday
October 20.
This is a free show sponsored by the Bergen County Department of Park, Division
of Cultural and Historic Affairs with funding by the NJ State Council on the
Arts/Department of State a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the
Arts.
