On Monday-27-May the Borough of Bogota held their Memorial Day Parade. This would begin on Palisade Ave under an unstable sky. Before the marchers could cross over the Lt. Albert Graf Bridge a steady rain started to fall. For safety concerns some of the participants would leave the route. Those who continued made their way past the reviewing stand in front of Borough Hall.
The Mayor and Council Members, also walking in the rain, greeted groups loudly for their effort. These included the Bogota Police Department led by their Colour Guard, along with the Colour Guard from the Bergen County Sheriff's Office. Other groups were Veterans from the Bogota VFW Post #5561, Trustees of the Bogota Board of Education, Employees of the Bogota Public Library, and players from the Bogota Youth Soccer Program.

The Ridgefield Park Volunteer Fire, Department, and Volunteer Rescue Squad also joined the Parade.
