Senior Night

 27-January-2024

 The Bogota-Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs had their first of two Senior Nights for 2024. This was held at the Bell Gym in Ridgefield Park High School. They face the Lyndhurst Golden Bears. Before the match start the two Seniors for Lyndhurst Kieran McNeil and Kevin Silva were introduced to the audience. The Scarlet/Bucs asked the 13 Seniors to step forward.  They were Daniel Vela, John Canada, Marvin Madera, Wilson Gamez, Freddy Tavarez, Hilary Toro Medina, Oscar Estevez, Jayden Lemire, Nick Buda, Josh Gesmundo, Bree Cooney, Derek Martinez, and Carlos Castellon. 

  The evening saw 13 of the 14 scheduled bouts taking place. Lyndhurst would win the match by a score of 41-39. The Scarlet/Bucs would get pinfall wins from Daniel Vela at 113 lbs., Marvin Madera at 120 lbs., Dean Sinisgalli at 132 lbs., Josh Gesmundo at 175 lbs., and Carlos Castellon at 285 lbs. Jayden Lemire had a decision win.  The Golden Bears' Chase Paglio at 106 lbs., Nate Boyd at 126 lbs., Kieran McNeil at 138 lbs., Dean Silva at 144 lbs., Kevin Silva at 150 lbs., Luis Baitan at 190 lbs., and Logan Stitzer at 215 lbs. all had Pin Falls.  

 Bogota-Ridgefield Park will have a second Senior Night on Tuesday-30 January at Bogota High School in the Speary Gym. The first Bout scheduled for 7:00p
