19-December-2023
On Sunday- 14-December members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Department escorted Santa Claus on his Lollipop tour of the Borough. Santa first had breakfast with some of the Families of the Firefighter to her the Childrens wishes, and hand out a few early presents. Next, he thanked the Firefighters for the work they have performed though-out this year. Then Santa climbed aboard Hook and Ladder Truck #1 to begin his trip around Bogota. He was led by the Chiefs car and Engine Company #1 vehicle. Santa wanted to see all the children and offer them a treat on a snowy Sunday morning. This also allowed the Children to show him that they have be good all year long.
On Sunday-24-December Santa will again tour Bogota again driven by members of The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. He will be offering Christmas wishes one more time, before all the good children go to become snug in their bed. This will start with the East side of the Borough at 5:00p and travel all through Bogota. He will then return to the North Pole so he can begin delivering present for Christmas Morning.
