Results from Bogota Varsity Sports from Mid Week. Wednesday-20-December the Bogota-Ridgefield Park Scarlets/Bucs Wrestling team competed at the New Milford Knights.  13 of the 14 bouts took place.  The Scarlets/Bucs would win five of them and suffer a 51 to 25 loss. Dean Sinisgalli at 132 lbs., Kevin Velasquez at 144 lbs., and Marvin Madera at 120 lbs. all scored pin falls. Nicholas Buda at 165 lbs. recorded a Major Decision 9-1. Derek Martinez had a 3-1 Decision win. The Scarlets/Bucs are now 1-1 and have their next match on Friday-22-Decemeber against. St. Mary's at home in Speary Gym starting at 7:00p 

  On Thursday the Bogota Basketball teams played those from Ridgefield. The Lady Bucs played an away game at the Lady Royals. Bogota would control the game from the start. They had a 32-6 lead at half time. Neither team recorded a point in the final quarter and Bogota left with a 48-6 win.   Emma Fowler led all scorers with career high of 24 Points including a new career high with 7 Three Point Baskets.  The Lady Bucs record is now 2-2. The next play on Wednesday-27- December against Ft. Lee in the Jay Mahoney Jam Fest on The Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym at 4:30p. 

 The Men's team host the Royals.  Ridgefield took an early 2-0 lead. The Bucs scored the next four points. The game would then be tied at 6 to 6. Bogota then would go on a 13-point run, and a 26-14 advantage at the end of the first quarter.  The next eight minutes saw the Royal out score the home team, but Bogota still led 41-36 at halftime.  Bogota expanded their advantage to nine points by three-quarter time. Bogota would win the game by the score of 74 to 67.  Brandon Nicolas set Career Highs with 23 points and 6 Three Point Baskets. Lucas Cruz also had a career high with 13 Rebounds to go with 3 Blocks.  Bogota's record is now 2-2. They next play on Thursday-21-December against Hackensack. This will take on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym with a 7:00p tip-off.  Then on Wednesday-27- December they host Community in the Jay Mahoney Jam Fest on The Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym at 7:30p. 

  Tickets are on sale now for the 2023 Battle at the Barclays Center on Monday-15-January-2024. This the Bogota Basketball Bucs will play Cresskill with a 12:30p tipoff. Tickets will include the Brooklyn Nets vs the Miami Heat at 7:30. Tickets must be purchased before Sunday-31-December (use form below)
