Leaf season started on Tuesday-10-October until Monday-18-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -18- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The Bogota Recreation Department will hold its annual House Decorating Contest. This is open to all Bogota residents and will have three categories. The house decorating will be judged on Dec 22nd. On Wednesday-29-November the Bogota Middle School has put up a Giving Tree in the main lobby. They are looking for any sized, gently used (or new) winter coats, new hats, new gloves, gently used toys (puzzles/board games/books). Donated items will be hung on the tree or place them under the tree as they come in. The General Public can donate items in the morning from 7:30a-8:15a at the front entrance
and again from 2:45p-3:15p. There will also be a donation box outside
during school hours. All donations will go to families in need for this holiday season. This will continue until Thursday-21-December. For more information, please contact the school at: apicocabrera@bogotaboe.com

The Bogota High School Fine Arts Dept will present this year's BHS Players production of "Radium Girls". There will be two performances of this production. Opening Night will be on Friday-1- December and on Saturday-2-December at 7:30p. Doors will open at 7:00p in

The Bogota Public Library will host a Virtual trivia Night with Mr. Roman at 6:45p. This will be presented live on Google Meet and the trivia will take place in an interactive form on an app called Kahoot. Participants will compete individually, not on teams due to the nature of the virtual setting. Please be sure to follow the directions below to prepare for the event.
