The Bogota Recreation Centre will offer Karate classes this Fall. These will be taught by Mr. Larry Barr and will be held at the Recreation Centre. Mr. Barr will teach all level of experience. This will be a 10-week course starting on Friday -6-October and run until Friday 15-December. Session will begin at 4:00p, Students from age 6 and higher are welcome to attend. Cost is $100.00 for Bogota residents and $125.00 for non-residents. All Student must register to attend at: www.bogotarec.org

The Village of Ridgefield Park will host their Street Fair and Jazz festival stating at 10:00a. This will take place on Main St from Cedar St. to Park St. There will be two music stages along with exhibitors and food vendors. This is a free event and open to the Public.

The 101 Pub is sponsoring Monday Fundraiser for the Friends of the Bogota Library. 10% of a total bill will be donated, when paid in cash. This will take place every Monday in May. The 101 Pub is located on 101 Queen Anne Rd, Bogota, NJ

Bogota Public Schools will have a full day session.
The Bogota Public Library be closed until Tuesday-10-October for Columbus Day.
The Bogota Borough Hall be closed until Tuesday-10-October for Columbus Day.The Recycling Centre will be closed and, there will be no yard waste pick-up. Both the Recycling Center will be open, and yard pick-up will be Tuesday-10-October for Columbus Day.
Note:
Leaf season will start Tuesday-10-October until Monday-18-December. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -18- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.
