Labor Day
Bogota     
The Bogota Public Library be closed until Tuesday 5-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.                              
The Bogota Borough Hall be closed until Tuesday 5-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend. 
The Recycling Centre will be closed and, there will be no yard waste pick-up. Both the Recycling Center will be open, and yard pick-up will be Tuesday-5-September




Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Public Library be closed until Tuesday-5-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.
The Ridgefield Park Recycling Centre be closed until Tuesday-5-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.  There will be no Trash pick-up. Yard Waste will be picked-up from Mt. Veron St and South.
The Ridgefield Park Municipal Building be closed until Tuesday-5-September in Observance of the Labor Day Weekend.

The Bogota Public Library will have their virtual Bilingual Storytime Tiempo de cuentos bilingüe virtual:  Join us for an evening of interactive literacy including Spanish and English stories and songs on Zoom.

 The Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge # 1506 will host a Tuesday Night Dinner will be Cheese Ravioli with Meatball including salad and desert.  This will take place in the Elks lodge is located at the 30 Spruce St. Ridgefield Park, NJ.  The event will start at 6:00p a with a donation of $12.00 per person.  Dinner will include salad and desert. Friday-8-September
Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park Arts Association and the Friends of the Ridgefield Park Library will co-sponsor the 2023 Word on the Street. This is part of International Literacy Day. The event will be staged at the Grove St Public Space starting at 7:00p. It will be an Open Mic Night and will welcome everyone who wishes to share their story. This year theme is "Turning Points". Participants will each have five minutes to share the times in which their lives have changed. Storytellers, Writers, Comedians and Poets are welcome to talk about situations from their past. Topic can vary from seemingly minor choices like hair color or making a left turn instead of going straight. To majors decisions such as changing jobs, or a romance.
Anyone who just wants to experience of listening insights to the Human condition are also welcome to attend. Music will be provided by Mr. Joe Kenney throughout the evening.
