Bogota Cross Country Bucs

  This week the both the Lady Bucs, and the Men's, Cross County Squad prepared for the 2023 Season.  With one Senior on the Women's team and a Men's mainly Sophomores, Head Coach Mr. Pat Rochford is looking to start the next chapter of Bogota Cross Country.  Returning Senior Ms. Isabel Michel who was a part of the North 2 Group 1 Champions along with the Patriot Division, Bergen County Group "D" titles. The Men's team did not field a full team for much of the 2022 season but are starting this year with enough runners to be competitive. 

  The started with the team stretching exercises followed by a brief run around the Feigel Field track.  Then more loosing drills which move to harder, and timed running. Both squads began together with the running broken into different parts.  Under Coaches orders the team would need to run at a hard pace for a set time. Then a slower pace was called out and followed by another hard pace. This would continue from one pace to the other until a final slow walk around the track to cool down. 

   Bogota's opening meet is on Saturday-9-September when they compete in the Season Opener Invitation meet. This will take place at the Darlington Park racecourse starting at 9:00a.
