Memorial Day 
Monday-29-May
All Government Offices will be closed and reopen on Tuesday-30-May at their regular time. 
There will be no Trash or Vegetation pick-up.

Bogota
The Bogota VFW Ralph Hall post #5561, and the Bogota American Legion Clifford Dunn Post #117will hold for their Memorial Day events for 2023. This year Memorial Day will be on Monday -30-May.  The Bogota VFW, American Legion and the Borough of Bogota will hold their Memorial Day Service starting at 11:00a. This will take place in front of Borough Hall located at 375 Larch Ave Bogota, NJ. This event is free and opened to the Public.  The Bogota Memorial Day Parade will start at Palisades Ave & Cedar St in Bogota. This will kick off at 2:00p The Parade will travel North on Palisade to E. Main St. It will turn left onto E. Main St and cross over the 1st Lt. Albert Graf Bridge to Elm Ave. It will make a right turn onto Elm Ave and travel north to W. Grove St. It will turn Left onto W. Grove to Larch Ave. It will turn Left onto Larch Ave and travel South to Bogota Borough Hall and will end after passing by the reviewing stand.





Ridgefield Park, NJ
The Ridgefield Park VFW Post #227 will hold their Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony. This will take place at Euclid Ave. and Mt. Vernon St. Starting at 11:00a. This is open to the Public. 
                                 




Tuesday-30-May
Bogota
The Bogota Public Library will have their virtual Bilingual Storytime Tiempo de cuentos bilingüe virtual:  Join us for an evening of interactive literacy including Spanish and English stories and songs on Zoom.

The Bogota Public Library will have virtual "Tiny But Mighty" story time reading starting at 10:30a. This is for Children ages 3 three years and younger. The Bogota Recreation Department will sponsor an in town basketball league. This will be held in the Steen School starting at 6:30p.  This is open to all Students from Grades 3 to 8. Thursday-1-June
Bogota
Borough of Bogota Council will hold their Work session meeting for the month. This is scheduled to be the first a Hybrid It will be starting at 7:00p and will also be held for in-person attendance in the Council Chambers at 375 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. The Public is welcome to attend in-person. 
  If any Hybrid meeting has technical issues with the Borough feed, the in-person meeting will
be stopped until the broadcast is restored. If the meeting access cannot be restored in
15 minutes, then the entire meeting will be adjourned and will be continued at a later publicized date, which will also be open to the public.

The Bogota Recreation Department will sponsor a Lacrosse Clinic starting on Friday-12-March the Clinic is open to all Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Second Grade. Bogota
The Bogota Recreation Department will sponsor a Basketball Clinic starting on Friday-3-March the Clinic is open to all Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Second Grade. This will be run by Coach Leo and take place in the Moore gym at Steen School. Classes will run until Friday-9-June and is priced at $160.00 for resident and $200.00 for non-residents. The Womens support group "Never Alone Again" and the Bergen County Food Security Task Force is offering hot meals to go curbside pick-up every Friday starting at 5:00p This will be

The Ridgefield Park Nature Preserve will hold its official open This will start at the E. Grand Ave Entrance at 10:00a. this is open to the Public For more information, please go to: https://www.ridgefieldpark.org/environmental-commission
