Results from Bogota Varsity sports from Wednesday-1-February.

   The Bogota-Heights Women's team traveled to Leonia to face the Lady Lions.  Leonia would be one point better than Bogota-Heights after the first eight minutes.  By halftime Leonia would take a 20 to 16 lead into the locker room. After the restart the team matched each other point for point. The Lady Lions won the game by a score of 53 to 49.  Sam Russo had a team high with 10 Points Emma Fowler had 2 Three Point Baskets. They now have a record of 8-9. Thier next game is Monday-6-February against Becton. This will take place at Hasbrouck Heights High School Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00p

  The Men's Basketball Bucs hosted the Lions on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Leonia would win the game by a score of 70-44. Bogota's Evan Abreu finished with a team high of 17 Points. Luis Bautista had 1 Three Point Basket.   Bogota's record is now 5-14. They next are scheduled to play on Saturday February 1 against Ridgefield Park in the Bergen Invitational Tournament. This will be play at Ridgewood starting at 12:00n
