On Tuseday-3-January- the Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs had their home opening meet in Speary Gym at Bogota High School. They faced the Leonia/Palisades Park Lions. All 14 weight classes bouts would take place. The Scarlet-Bucs would win the match by a score of 54 to 27. All nine of Bogota/Ridgefield Park victories would come by pin fall. They were Derek Rodriguez at 132 lbs. Dean Sinisgalli at 138 lbs. Adrian Laino at 144 lbs. Nicholas Buda at 157 lbs. Josh Gesmundo at 165 lbs. Jaden Everett at 190lbs. Derek Martinez at 215 lbs. Theresa Zeppetelli at 106 lbs. and Derek Baurnschmidt at 116 lbs.

The Lions Stav Fronimos at 150lbs. Ryan Armstrong at 120 lbs. and Christopher Valerio at 126 lbs. won by pinfalls.
The Scarlet-Bucs' record is now 2-1. They will next face Cliffside Park/ Ridgefield on Thursday-5-January. This will take place in Speary Gym with the first bout scheduled for 7:00p
