Starting on Monday-3-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -19- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The next games of the Big Mike’s 3 v 3 Co-ed Basketball League will take place. The first game is scheduled for a 6:30p tip-off. All games will be played at Lincoln School starting at 6:30p and continue until the playoffs will on Mondays November 7 and 14.

The Trinity Lutheran Church will be holding its annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive. They will be collecting Frozen Turkeys & other Non-Perishable food item to be distributed to those families in need this Holiday season. Drop off time for frozen turkeys is from 9:00a to 1:30p at the Trinity Church located at 167 Palisade Ave Bogota, NJ. They are currently accepting any type of non-perishable food item after Sunday Service. All collected items will be distributed to local food banks. For more information please call 201-487-3576.
