Starting on Monday-3-October will be the start of Leaf Season. Homeowners are allowed to place raked, leaves and grass cutting in the street, along the curb, in front of their residents. It is asked that the piles be placed in such a way as not to interfere with traffic, and away from storm sewers and drain to prevent flooding, or other water build-up. Leaf Season is schedule to end on Monday -19- December after that date all yard waste must be placed in brown leaf bags for pick-up.

The Bogota Police has announced that on Monday-31- October Larch Ave will close 3:30p until 7:00p. This is to allow for the Borough's Safe Street Trick or Treating. The closure will be from W. Main St and Homestead Place in Bogota. The side streets also have will no access onto Larch Ave. during these times. There will be a special display in front of Police Headquarters located on the corner of Henry Smith Way at Larch Ave. The Township of Teaneck is scheduled have their own street closed during the same time period.

The next games of the Big Mike’s 3 v 3 Co-ed Basketball League will take place. The first game is scheduled for a 6:30p tip-off. All games will be played at Lincoln School starting at 6:30p and continue until the playoffs will on Mondays November 7 and 14.

The Ridgefield Park Arts Association will host their annual Holiday Market in the Park. This will take place at Fellowship Park starting at 11:00a to 4:00p. The Holiday Market is open to vendors and artists from in and around Ridgefield Park. They will offer visitors the opportunity to see local Artist and Business items that will be available for purchase. There will also include a 50/50 and a Tricky Tray raffle. The Playground will be open, with adult supervision provided. A number of food trucks are scheduled to be on site. The market is open to the Public with no admission charged.
The Tricky Tray is a fundraiser for Ridgefield Park Arts Association, with proceeds going to fund outreach and activities with-in the Village.
