On Friday-17-June Bogota Blog NJ's personal connection to the Bogota Public School System came to a close. Over the past 10 years and 1.1 million views Bogota Blog NJ has highlighted the story of events, information and sports in Bogota NJ. This the first Information & Event website dedicated to Bogota NJ. During that time Bogota Blog NJ has been asked to provide story and photos which aided in a few scholarships for the Student Athletes. It was also arranged for other news outlets such as News 12 NJ, NJN (the PBS outlet) The Bergen Record and the Newark Star-Ledger to feature Bogota to a greater New Jersey Audiences. These includes stories about the Bogota Emergency Service Youth Academy, Bogota Student Athletes preparing for the fall season, A local Student Volunteer group aiding residents, and the Bogota 125 Anniversary Celebration.

To continue this type of coverage Bogota Blog NJ is asking any local organizations, that would like have an event be share with the public, submit their information as soon as possible. All request and information must be EMAILED to bogotablognj@gmail.com. Information should arrive at Bogota Blog NJ at least TWO WEEKS prior to the event. A description of the event including date, time, place, organization, and cost (if any) should be given. Additional a flyer in the PDF format should be included.

Bogota Blog NJ will publish the story at first notice then again on its "This Weeks Events" and "Weekend Events" posting. Timely information will allow Bogota Blog NJ to schedule the event to be cover on www.bogotablognj.com as well as its facebook and twitter accounts
