Fundraising Weekend

   Over the past weekend a few local organizations held fundraising events thorough-out Bogota. The first was the Bogota Band Parents  which held their Spring Town-Wide garage sale.  A number of residents set-up their lawns and driveway to offer clothing, cookware, and other items a chance to be purchase for new life. Proceeds from this will to fund the the Band Parents program for the Student Musicians. 
 The Bogota Band Parents is a group of Families who help fund the High School program. They also help provided trip planning to away football game, and Band competitions. Along with chaperoning for trips and other items needed to have a successful Band program.    Another was the Bogota High School Class of 2022 held a car wash on Saturday and Sunday. This took place in the parking lot of Valley National Bank.  Seniors took turns soaping, scrubbing, rinsing and drying the vehicles that stopped by.   Additionally members of Bogota Recuse Squad  46 came out for their annual Boot Drive. This took place on the corner of Palisade Ave. and E.Main St. Members collected money from drivers passing by.
