Scarlet-Bucs Senior Night

 4-February-2022

   On Thursday-3-February  the Bogota/Ridgefield Park Scarlet-Bucs Wrestling squad faced the Ramsey Rams.  This took place in Speary Gym. It was the Senior Match for the Scarlet- Bucs. Before the first bout, Seniors from both team were recognized to the audience. Ramsey would win the match by a score of 41 to 27. Of the 12 bouts that took place the Scarlet-Bucs won 4 of them.

  Bogota/Ridgefield Park's Adam Albino at 120 lbs, Andrew Vargas at 175 lbs, and Mathew Carvajal at 190 lbs won by Pinfall

  Ramsey's Anthony Cadicina a 120 lbs, Ethan Barrow  at 144 lbs, and Zavon Franklin at 215 lbs had Pinfall wins. The Rams' Sean Hali at 150 lbs and Owen Delgado 165 lbs scored Major Decisions. 

  Bogota/Ridgefield Park's record is now 12-3. Their next match is on Monday-7-February  as  the  #6 seed Scarlet-Bucs take-on # 3 seed Ridgewood  in the Quarter-final round of the New Jersey  State Interscholastic Athletic Association  North Jersey Section 1 Group 4 2022 Men's Wrestling Tournament. This will take place at Morris Knolls  with the first bout scheduled for 5:00p.
