Bogota Basketball

    On Tuesday-8-February  the Bogota Basketball teams played those from Emerson.

    The Men's Basketball Bucs traveled to Emerson and played the Cavaliers. The home team would take a 10 point lead after the first 8 minutes. Emerson would be ahead 31-20  at halftime.  The Cavaliers won the game by a score of 59-48. Bogota's Even Meberg would led all scores with 25 Points. He is now 7th on Bogota all time scores with 1,105 Points.  He is behind Joe Spagnola by 150 Points. Jason Ziema score 21 Points for the high for Emerson.  Mr Ziema did this with a game and career high of 7 Three Point Baskets.  Mr .Meberg scored a team high of 4 Three Point Basket for Bogota. The Bucs record is now 7-10. They next play on Thursday-10 February against Waldwick. This will take place on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym with the tip off at 6:00p. 

  The Lady Bucs hosted the Lady Cavaliers on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym. Bogota would lose the game by the score of 12-51. Victoria Sterinsky had a game highs of 16 Points including  4 Three Point Baskets for Emerson.  Ashley Bautista led Bogota with 9 Points. Their record is now 4-10. They next play on Tuesday-10-February when they travel to Midland Park. The tip-off is 7:00p.
