On Friday-17-December the Bogota High School Fine Arts Department held their Holiday Concert of 2021. This was the first live concert in the High School since 2019. The program started with the Concert Band under the Direction of Mr Barry McCann. The play songs for the season that include music from various religious beliefs and from around the world. Including a medley of music to celebrate Hanukkah A carol from the Canadien First Nations, and a French Hymn. Before the final song the Senior members of the band took a moment to thank Mr. McCann for his wisdom and guidance over their years in Bogota.

After the intermission the Bogota Concert Choir, under the Direction of Ms. Andre Lynch and Accompanied by Mx. Nicole D'Angelo. The Choir sang three songs which had a theme of the upcoming Winter Season as well as some that reflected the Holidays. Ms. Andre Lynch was given a present, before the final number, in appreciation from the choir. Next came a Purple Notes performing one song for the Holiday season.
After a brief pause the final performance of the evening was given by the Bogota Jazz Band, Direction of Mr Barry McCann. Mr.McCann joined the ensemble on Bass Guitar for a trio on Christmas Carols.
The Fine Arts will hold future events including the Spring Musical of "The Sponge Bob Musical" on Friday and Saturday 25 & 26 March-2022. Along with the Spring Concert on Friday-18-May-2022.
