During the first week of November Go Fish Seafood in Bogota took the week off to redesign their restaurant. When they opened in July of this year, Go Fish Seafood was a combination of a fresh seafood market with limited seating for in person dining. As the year moved forward, they expanded their menus. First to be added was a Lunch time, and After School menu with specials for under $10.00. This was followed with a Sunday Brunch that is available for most of the day. Next came a Halloween catering service and other event planning.
Owners Nylka and Mark Jeffries with Head Chef Geisi Segura felt it was time to expand to the next stage. As part of the renovations, the cold food display table was removed and the kitchen was closed in. The counter facing W. Main St was removed and seating for about a dozen patrons was created. The added partition between the Dining Room and the Kitchen allows a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The dinner service menu has stayed the same highlighted by their signature dishes of Sugar Cane Shrimp, Salmon Burger, Lobster Macaroni & Cheese and their two seafood boils.
For Thanksgiving Go Fish Seafood is offering a catered dinner menu. Packages range for a service feeding 6 to 8 people. Up to an all inclusive option serving 20 to 25 dinners.
The main courses are a choice of Deep Fried Turkey, or Whole Garlic, Chicken, or a Cherry Pineapple Glazed Ham. Side dishes available are some of their fresh handcrafted items from the main menu along with seasonal favorites. To reserve a Thanksgiving Dinner please call 201-250-8577.
