On Friday-15-October the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball Team played the West Morris Central Lady Wolfpack at Speary Gym. Bogota had the first serve in the opening set, But West Morris would score take a 2-0 lead. Bogota then scored their first points of the set, and have Helena Tobin serve Bogota to a 5-2 lead. The Lady Wolfpack used serving by Amanda Vecchione again take the lead. This first game saw 11 tie scores and 6 lead changes. Neither team could open more than a 3 point lead over their opponent. West Morris Central would be the first team to reach the 20 point mark. They found their way to win the first set by a score of 25-22
The second set had West Morris Central serve first. The Lady Bucs then won back the ball for a 1-0 lead. West Morris Central then forced another tie for the match at 1 all. Bogota again won the side and added to that for a 3-1 lead. The Lady Wolfpack moved one point closer to Bogtoa at 3-2. With another side out Bogota's Ashanna Caviness had a 4 point service run and give her team a 6 point lead. West Morris Central then closed that gap to just a pair of points. Bogota opened another half a dozen point lead, And the Lady Wolfpack would again bring the margin to two points. This time Bogota would get to the 20 point score first ad tie the match up with a 25-21 second set win.

The final set started with Bogota again serving first. Again the home team took an lead, then be tied at one. Bogota would take another 4 point lead only to have that also be cut-down in size. With the scores tie at 9 Bogota made the score 10-9. Angelina Buhler had the next serve for the Lady Bucs with West Morris Central appearing to tie the set again. The call was overturned and Ms. Buhler took advantage of this and went on a eight point scoring run. This nine point lead was the largest of the match and allowed Bogota to get a 25-16 set win, and a 2-1 match win. Bogota's record is now 18-1.
Ashanna Caviness had a match high with 20 Kills for Bogota. Kelly Kaitenhauser and Ava Novello had 8 Kills each for the Lady Wolfpack. West Morris Central's Angelina Mauro scored a Match, and career high with 33 Digs. Angelina Buhler led Bogota with 17 Digs. Mia Pimentel scored a Match, and career high with 40 Assist for the Lady Bucs. Gyanna Hernandez for Bogota, Angelina Mauro, Ava Novello, and Amanda Vecchione all had tops in Service Points with 7. Ms. Vecchione and Angelina Buhler from Bogota both had 2 Aces for their teams. Amanda Vecchione from West Morris Central, and Bogota's Carolina Villada and Mia Penentel all recorded a high of 2 Block apiece
Bogota next plays on Tuesday-19-October when they take on Waldwick at home in Speary Gym. First serve is scheduled to start at 4:00p
The #8 Bogota Bergen County Tournament game against # 1 Immaculate Heart Academy in a Quarterfinal match has been changed to Friday-22-October .This will take place at Old Tappan High School's South Gym first serve will be announced at a latter date
