On Thursday-16-September the Bogota Lady Bucs Volleyball team hosted the Lady Patriots from Secaucus. Bogota served first and scored the first three points. The Lady Bucs took advantage of erratic Secaucus serves and expanded their lead. Midway into the first set Bogota went on a six point scoring run and gave themselves double digit lead. Bogota would move on to win the set by a score of 25-11.
The second set started with the Lady Patriots serving. Bogota would then regain service and get a quick lead. The teams traded points with Secaucus closing the lead to one point. Bogota would then put together a number of service runs to expand their lead on the way to a 25-11-set win and 2-0 Match win.
Bogota's record is now 3-1. Ashanna Caviness had a match high with 14 kills for Bogota. Kaitlyn Martinez, Amaya Ocasio, and Ava Formisano each had 2 Kills for Secaucus. Anna Apter for Secaucus Diana Alfau for Bogota each had 2 Blocks. Lady Bucs' Mia Pimentel had a match high with 20 assists, with Amaya Ocasio scoring 6 for the Lady Patriots. Gyanna Hernandez recorded 8 Service Points with 2 Aces.
Bogota next plays on Friday-17-September when they travel to Hawthorne Christian Academy with the first serve scheduled for 4:00p
