Bogota Soccer

    On Monday-13-September  Bogota Men's Soccer Bucs play the Park Ridge Owls at home on Zakrzewski Field.   The first ten minutes both teams took turns crating offencive chances. Almost midway through- out the first half the Owl would take another turn at the target. There was an initial save, but the rebound could not be controlled. The ball was passed to in front of the Bogota goal and Daniel Geormaneanu would place his shot to the upper righthand corner to open the scoring.   Nearing the 33 minute mark Matthew Garito doubled the Owl's with the first of his two goals for the game. The first half ended with a 2-0 Park Ridge lead.

  After the restart the Park Ridge quickly placed a free kick in th Bogota penalty area and the Owls'  Matt Cioccia score to give his team a 3-0 lead.  The visitors would add two goals, one by Daniel Geormaneanu and the other by Matthew Garito. Goaltender Ryan Amorese would make 5 Saves for the shut-out.

The Bucs record is now 1-1. 

  Bogota next plays on Wednesday-15-September when they travel to Palisades Park with the kick off schedule for 4:00p
