Bergen Relays

   On Friday and Saturday 7 & 8 May the Bogota Track and Field Bucs competed at the Bergen County Relays held in Riverdell High School.  44 Schools from around Bergen County took part in 5 separate divisions. Four Public School division based on school size and 1 Private School division. Bogota competed in the "D" grouping along with the other Group I  schools that took part. 

  The Lady Bucs would place sixth in their eight school division. There top finishers were: 

In the 4 x 100 m Relay they would place 4th  

In the 4 x 200 m Relay they would place 4th  

In the 4 x 400 m Freshmen Relay they would place 1st with Alyssa Ramirez, Isabelle Michel, Jenelly Jimenez, and Kylie Cabana.

In the 4 x 1600 m Relay they would place 2nd  

In the 1600 m Sprint Medley Relay they would place 6th  

In the 1600 m Distance Medley Relay they would place 4th  

The Men's team would place second out of the eight schools in the "D" Division. The Bucs would also score 8th  out of the 44 total schools  in attendance. 

Their top finishers were: 

In the 400m Intermediate Hurdles:  Andreas Cabrera in 4th place 

In the 4 x 100m Relay: First Place with  Andreas Cabrera, Ethan Roberts,Gabriel Nunez, and Alexis Fernandez

In the 4 x 400m Relay: 2nd  place 

In the 1600 m Sprint Medley Relay: 2nd place 

In the Distance  Medley Relay: First Place with Jesus Michel, Josh Gesmundo, Dennis Toremis and Leandro Rojas

Long Jump: Dennis Toremis  in 7th place

Triple Jump: Andreas Cabrera  in 3 place

Shot Put:  Kevin Flores in 4th place

Dicus: Owen Rosado in 3rd place

Javelin: Dillon LeMay in 2nd place

They next compete on Monday-10-May at Cresskill against Cresskill and Waldwick.
