Scarlet/Bucs Wrestling

 2-April-2021   

  On Thursday-1-April the Bogota -Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs Wrestling team took on the Lodi Rams in Speary Gym. Of the 14 bouts scheduled 7 took place. Scarlet/Bucs Wrestlers   won the match by the score of 51-19.  The Scarlet/Bucs would win 3 bouts. Gabriel Nunez at 145 lbs Andrew Vargas at 170 lbs would win by  Pinfall. Adam Albino at 113 would by a 10-5 Decision score.  The Scarlet/Bucs record is now 4-4

  Lodi would have Pinfall wins by  Nicholas Castaneda at 132 lbs,  and Ryan McGuire at 160 lbs. The Rams Ryan Mastrofilipo  at 126 lbs won by  a 4-2 Decision, and Anthony Asencio at 195 had a Major Decision win by the score of 16-7.

  They next compete on Monday-5-April when they take on New Milford.  Time and location will be announced at a latter date.  The Scarlet/Bucs Women Wrestlers will compete at the NJSIAA Girls Wrestling Regional Championships on Saturday-3-April. This will take place at Union High School. The first bouts are scheduled to start at 9:00a.
