Saddle Brook/ Bogota Baseball

  On Wednesday-21-April the Saddle Brook/ Bogota Baseball team played their first game at Fiegel Field in Bogota.  In this game they hosted the Garfield Boilermakers.  Saddle Brook/ Bogota wore a combined uniform consisting of a Black Jersey with a scripted  S  and B  on the front. The letters and numbers would be outlined in gold. The pants were white, with Black socks having three gold and white stripes on them. Their Caps are black with the same  scripted  S  and B on the front.

  The first inning had only one run score, which was by the home team in the bottom of the inning. Saddle Brook/ Bogota then scored 8 runs in the bottom of the third inning. They would add three more in the home part of the fourth inning.  When Garfield was held scoreless in the top of the fifth inning the game was stop  after five innings, with Saddle Brook/ Bogota recording a 12-0 win. Saddle Brook/ Bogota record is now 2-0. 

  Saddle Brook/ Bogota's  John Hacker and Juan Carlos Castillo pitch a combined No Hitter. Mr. Hacker recording 10 Strike Outs and Mr. Castillo having 1.  Paul Figueroa would also have a game high with 4 Runs Batted In.

   Saddle Brook/ Bogota next play on Friday-23 -April against Elmwood Park. This will be played at the Sandle/Coolidge Baseball Field. The First Pitch is scheduled for 4:00p
