Scarlet/Bucs Wrestling

  On Wednesday-17-March the Bogota -Ridgefield Park Scarlet/Bucs Wrestling team had their home opening match for the 2021 Season.  They would host the Bergenfield Bears in Speary Gym

  Of the 14 bouts scheduled 11 took place. Bogota -Ridgefield Park would get a 48-18 win.  This included  6 Pin Fall and two victories by decision.  Gabriel Nunez at 145 lbs,  Kayla Zeppetelli at 152 lbs,  Benjamin Rivera at 160 lbs Andrew Vargas at 170 lbs, Kevin Flores at 182 lbs and Hugo Wang at 220 lbs would all score Pinfalls. Adam Albino at 113 lbs had a 6-4 decision and Josh Gesmundo record a 9-6 win, Scarlet/Bucs record is now 2-0. 

  They next compete on Friday-19-March at Dumont.  The first bout is scheduled to start at 5:00p  Due to the current health situation only Family members of the Home School will be allowed to attend in person.

 On Sunday-21-March the Scarlet/Bucs Women wrestlers will compete in the Bergen

County Women's Invitational meet. This will be held at Pascack Hills  High School with the first bouts scheduled for 9:00a
