Lady Scarlets Volleyball

   On Wednesday-24-March the Ridgefield Park Lady Scarlets Volleyball had a home match against the Dumont Lady Huskies 

      Dumont would serve first and opening the scoring. Ridgefield Park would take a brief lead and then be tied by Dumont at 2 points apiece. This would be part of a nine point run, by the Lady Huskies. Dumont would win the first set by a score of 25-8 

 The Lady Scarlets would serve first in the second set, with Dumont again recording the first points. The Lady Huskies twice opened leads of 7 points against the home team. Ridgefield Park put together a seven point run of their own and tie the set at 10-10.  The lead would flip between teams until the score was tied at 18-18. Ridgefield Park moved ahead by 5 until they were tied at 23. The Lady Scarlets got to 25 points first and tied the match at 1-1, with a 25-23 second set win.  The third set started like the first two with Dumont scoring first.  They also opened a five point lead quickly. The Lady Scarlets answered and tied the set at 9.  Dumont then out score Ridgefield Park by at margin of 16 to 2  and win the set by a score of 25-11. This gave the Lady Huskies a 2-1 match victory.  

  This makes Ridgefield Park's record 4-2.

     Ridgefield Park is next scheduled to play on Friday-26-March when they host Mahwah. This is scheduled start at 4:00p.  The Junior Varsity game will follow at 5:30p.  Only  a limited number home team Parents are allowed to attend games in person.  This can be seen: at Ridgefield Park Athletics
