12-March-2021
On Thursday-11-March members of the Bogota Recreation Commission decorated Bogota Borough Hall Park with ribbons to gather support for youth sports run by the Bogota Recreation Department. These were large bows coloured in Bogota Purple, that were added so they can be seen by passerby. A few were placed on the utility poles, on Larch Ave, flanking the park. Others were added to the directional signs for the Library and Senior Centre. Then more were tied to the columns at the entrances to Borough Hall, and the Public Library. The white paint of the columns served as a background which allowed the Bogota Purple of the ribbons to stand out.
