Library Re--Opening phase 3

The Bogota Public Library has announced it will return to its Phase -3 Reopening plan. This will start with the start of Business on Wednesday-10-February at 10:00a.  They will be open on a limited basis to the public for material lending. Patrons may not remain in the library for more than 30 minutes, and only 10 patrons may enter to check out materials at one time. They recommend the continuing use of the Outside pickup services until further notice. Computer use and passport application services are by appointment only.  Please contact them at 201-488-7185 to book a reservation.
On Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00a to 12:00 noon, the library is open only to those over 60, or those with underlying health concerns, along with anyone with special needs. Safety rules will be strictly enforced. They include: 

-Staying at home if you are sick. If you or anyone in your household has a fever, cough, chills or is otherwise not feeling well, do not enter the Library. 

-Use of masks, nose and mouth must be covered to protect staff and other patrons. Masks, bandanas or scarves are acceptable. Your hand, shirt, or other clothing are not face coverings. If you don’t have a mask, staff can provide one.

- Maintain physical distancing. Follow staff guidance, posted signs and floor markings to ensure at least six feet of space from others. No gatherings.

- Limiting a stay to 30 minutes. Many furnishings are not available to facilitate a clean and sanitary environment. The Library is open only for selecting and borrowing items, using a computer or applying for a passport.

- No one under 16 years of age will not be allow to enter without adult supervision.Library staff are unable to supervise youth and ensure their adherence to rules.
