Lady Bucs Basketball

  On Wednesday-10-February the Bogota Lady Bucs Basketball team hosted the Wallington Lady Panthers on the Jay Mahoney Court in Speary Gym.  The Lady Bucs would score the first seven points of the game. Wallington then scored the next six  to come within one point of the host.  Bogota would not surrender the lead and and open a ten point lead. Again the Lady Panthers would not back down and end the quarter with a short run of baskets. Bogota was able to have a slight lead 16-14 after the first eight minutes. Starting int he second quarter Bogota would take over the rest of the game starting with a 24 Point second quater for 40-17 advantage by Halftime.  In the second part of the game the Lady Bucs would use their speed and shooting end up with a 65-29 home win. 

  Bogota's record is now 2-1.  Kylie Cabana would lead all scorers with 23 Points. Nakayla Fields would record a team high with 2 Three Points Baskets for the Lady Bucs. Wallington's Natalia Kietyka lead her team with 9 Points, all coming from a game high 3 Three Point Baskets 

 The Lady Bucs next play on Friday-12-February at Dwight -Englewood. The tip-off is scheduled for 4:00p.
