Lady Scarlet Basketball

 On Thursday-28- January the Ridgefield Park Basketball Lady Scarlets had their 2021 Home Opener against the Cliffside Park Red Raiders.  This took place on the Dr. John C. Richardson Court. The Lady Scarlets  scored the first 12 Points of the game, and maintained a double digit advantage for the rest of the 32 minutes. By half time Ridgefield Park was ahead by the score of 36-10.  When the Lady Scarlets' reached the half century mark they moved into a four corner offense to control the clock. The game ended with a 56- 27  Ridgefield Park win. The Lady Scarlets' record is now 1-1. Ridgefield Park's Jade Martinez led all scorers with 15 Points. Nya Carroll record a high of 2 Three Point baskets.  Maya Winters led Cliffside park wit  8 Points.
 Their next game will be on Tuesday-2-February when they travel to Dwight Morrow. This is scheduled for a 7:00p tip-off, with the Junior  Varsity game preceding this at 5:15 p.

   The Men's Basketball teams away games , at Cliffside park were canceled.  No make-up day has been announced yet. They are next scheduled to platy at Bergenfield on Saturday-30-January. The Varsity tip-off will be at 1:00p with The Junior  Varsity game preceding this at 11:30a And the Freshman game at 10:00a. Their next home game is scheduled to be on Tuesday-2-February. They will host Dwight Morrow on the Dr. John C. Richardson Court with a tip-off time of 7:00p.  The Junior  Varsity game preceding this at 5:15 p. And the Freshman game at 4:00p Due to the current health situation no fans will be allow to attend this game in person.
