On Friday-20-November the Bergen County Clerk's Office posted the Official results of the 2020 General Election.
For Bogota Borough Council:
For two, three year terms
- Incumbent Councilwoman Mary Ellen Murphy Democrat 2,064 votes
- Jo-Ellen Granquist Democrat 2,039 votes
- Incumbent Councilman Thomas Napolitano Republican 1,955 votes
- Robert Foster Republican 1,812 votes
This is for two full terms of three years. The top two Candidates with the most votes will win the seats to the Bogota Borough Council. This will mark the first time the Bogota Borough would have a majority of Women sitting on the Council.
For Bogota Board of Education:

This is for three, three year terms.The top three Candidates with the most votes will win the seats to the Bogota Board of Education. The Bogota Board of Education will have 4 new trustees out of the 9 seats on the Board. From the 2020 Board 2 trustees did not seek reelection, and the 2 incumbents were not re-elected.

- Trina Rivera-Olivo 1,289 votes
The winner will win that seat as a trustee until the term ends in the year 2021.
For Ridgefield Park Board of Education:

This is for three, three year terms. The top three Candidates with the most votes will win the seats to the Ridgefield Park Board of Education. Only one Incumbent Trustee was re-elected

The Teaneck Board of Education will have 3 new trustees out of the 9 seats on the Board. From the 2020 Board 2 trustees did not seek reelection, and the 1 incumbent were not re-elected.

The State of New Jersey must still: Pass either enabling legislation, which would formally direct law enforcement to stop arresting people for marijuana possession, or a decriminalization bill.

To allow the State of New Jersey to amend the State Constitution in order to give a property tax deduction to veterans who did not serve in war time.

This amendment makes honorably discharged veterans eligible for a $250 deduction on their property taxes regardless of when or where they served.

To allow the State of New Jersey to amend the State Constitution in order to change legislative district if the Federal Census results are delayed.

This amendment says that, if census data is given to New Jersey after Feb. 15 in any year, the legislative redistricting process should be delayed and old voting maps would be used for elections for 12 years instead of the typical 10.

Shall the Township of Teaneck, effective for the calendar year 2021, continue a dedicated tax program and extend an annual tax levy at the rate of $0.01 per $100.00 of assessed value for a period not to exceed four (4) years unless a proposition extending the same is approved by the voters
