Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region:
Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region:
The mild weather pattern continues and is expected to last through the rest of the week. This is the time of year when the local area sees its first taste of refreshing Canadian air transported into the area behind cold fronts. Recently, this type of weather pattern has not been predominant. Instead, the air masses have been more maritime, moist and mild. Although a weak frontal boundary will try to push across Thursday, it will stall and move back north before allowing any cooler air to replace the misty and mild air. The result will be a continuation of mild weather. Chances of rain will be minimal, and any rain should be very light. A frontal boundary, the type described above, will move through the area about midway through the weekend. Saturdays temperatures should continue above average, but Sunday`s will offer an autumn chill.
