On Saturday-3-October the Players and Parents of the Little Ferry-South Hackensack-Bogota (LFSHB)Under 10 all star baseball team celebrated their District 6 Little League Championship. This was a team comprised of players from all three towns who took part in the Summer Recreation League. Six teams were place in a preliminary round with the top four teams moving on to the Championship round. LFSHB would finish tied for second place with a 3-1 record. LFSHB would first play Teaneck Southern, who they were tied with, and win this game 3-0. They then won the next game against Englewood Cliffs by an 8-0 score. LFSHB would then have to play Englewood Cliffs two more times. Losing the next game by one run. They would win the Championship game by a score of 11-5.
Teams from the LFSHB league also were selected to play in the Boys Under 12, and Junior/ Senior Leagues. Along with the Girls under 12, and Senior Softball leagues.

The Boys Under 12 team would finish fourth in the preliminary round, but not advance to the Championship Game. The Senior league team would place third in the preliminary round, and advance to the Championship game. They would lose to Hackensack by a score of 1-4.
In Softball the Girls Under 12 team would finish first in the preliminary round and would not suffer a loss. They would then defeat Ridgefield in the Championship game 10-3. This qualified then for the Section 2 Tournament.
The Girls Senior league team would finish first in the preliminary round and would not suffer a loss. They would then defeat Bergenfield in the Championship game 5-0. As a team they would post four shut-outs during the Tournament. They also qualified for the Section 2 Tournament.
