On Thursday-20-August the Bogota Borough Council held there only scheduled meeting for August. The Council voted on the Consent Agenda, and other approvals, on the agenda. All items voted on were passed. One note worthy item approved was continuation of the shared service agreement with Bergen County. This will have the County compensate the Borough for Snow plowing on County Roads performed by the Bogota Department of Public Works. These include Main St from the Teaneck border to the Lt.William Ryan Bridge. W.Ft Lee Rd from Elm Ave to the Dillard Bridge. and River Rd between Ridgefield Park and Teaneck.
In his address Mayor Kelemen talked about the need for everyone who lives in Bogota to fill out their Census form. He said, at this time Bogota has a 71% complacence rate. This is up from a 68.5 % from 2010. The deadline to file is Saturday-31-October -2020. The 2020 census can be file online at: 2020CENSUS.GOV.

The next Borough of Bogota Council meeting will be on Thursday-3-September. This will be a virtual meeting. The start time will again be at 7:30p for their regular time. The meeting can be access by a number of different ways.
