Testing

  On Wednesday-8-July the Bergen County Department of health in cooperation with the New Bridge Medical Centre had a mobile testing site for Bogota and Ridgfield Park. This was set-up in the St. Joseph Church parking lot. Primarily for resident in Bogota and Ridgefield Park with limited vehicle access, it also accepted all resident of Bergen County.  During peak hours the lines to start the testing stretch down Hill St. The length of the lines included maintain a safe distance from other. Once a person was granted entrance to the site the process lasted approximately a half hour to 45 minutes. Longer if anti-body testing was required. A large number of county and local personal were on hand to guild attendees throughout the process.  Safe distances and personal protect was maintained  for the entire day.
   Bogota Mayor Chris Kelemen and Bogota Police Chief Daniel Maye visited to talk with the staff and volunteers about how the testing was proceeding at this location. Then both took the opportunity to receive the test them selves. 
  On average test result will be available after the diagnosis test, and 48 hours after the Anti-body test.  Anyone tested will be contacted by phone. For more information please contact them at:  COVIDquestions@newbridgehealth.org
   More mobile testing sites will be available starting on Monday-13-July to Friday-17-July. The closest one to Bogota will be in Hackensack, NJ on Thursday-16-July.  It will be held at Hackensack High School. It will be open for First responders from 9:00a to 10:00a . And  the general public from 10:00a to 2:00p.
