Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. -DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. No hazardous weather is expected at this time that would meet NWS warning criteria.

-FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS EVENING
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Connecticut,
northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.
-FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
-Through this evening
-Heavy rain showers and embedded thunderstorms are forecast
through this evening. A total of 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is
expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Torrential
rainfall within a short period of time will be possible and this
could lead to flooding of low lying, urban and poor drainage
areas. Some smaller streams and rivers could exceed banks.
-PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
