Thomas Jefferson Middle School Class of 2020

  On Monday-22- June the Thomas Jefferson Middle School held their virtual Commencement Ceremony for the Eight Grade Class of 2020. To view the video of this please go to:  https://vimeo.com/429693409/86fc8b9d85
 The  Thomas Jefferson Middle School held their Ceremony in the morning. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Christopher Irving started the program off with welcoming Family and Friends in sharing this moment with the Students.  Ms Rin Anderson then recited the Pledge of Allegiance and wished that her and her Classmate can stand together stronger than before.  next  the Thomas Jefferson Chorus, under the Direction of Ms Molly Neff sang their Alma Mater " TJ Pride."  Assistant Principal Mr. Enoch Nyamekye asked the Student to focus on the positive experience that helped them to reach this day.  The Eight grade Chorus then performed "Peace in 12 Languages"    
 Then came the presentation of the Class off 2020 with a personalized slides  show. This was followed by the announcing of the individual awards for 2020 by Assistant Principal Mr. Ramon Ortiz.  The Eight Grade Band performed "That’s What I Like".
   Thomas Jefferson Principal Ms. Nina Odatalla talked with her Student one more time. She told about her idea of what 20-20 vision will mean to her. Principal Odatalla said her hope that in the future the Students will have 20-20 vision about the time growing up in school and use that to plan their imagination and wisdom in the years ahead.  Then Teaneck High School Principal Mr. Clifton Thompson welcomed the Class of 2024 to the Castle on the Hill
  The presentation ended with congratulation and well wishes from other, including New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. And a montage of highlight of the Student time at Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
