Flag History

 On Tuesday-19-May the Bogota public Library will host a lecture on the History of the American Flag.  This will be presented by Mr. Kevin Woyce . He will cover the history of the American flag from its creation during the American Revelation up to the current  50 Star version. He will explain how a poem written in the middle of the War of 1812 transformed into the Nation Anthem of the United States. The lecture is scheduled to start at 7:00p  
  This program will be hosted virtually on Zoom. Register to receive an email with participation information one hour before the event.
